We're starting up #JuneStudyJam again this year! This is a simple, powerful, potentially-life-changing and habit-forming art challenge. It's totally free to participate and it will absolutely improve your art skills.

The rules are simple:

Study art every day. Do at least one study every single day. A study can be a figure drawing, a figure painting, a landscape study, a portrait, anatomy studies, a still life, a master study, or just about anything you want!
Share your work on social media with the hashtag #JuneStudyJam and tag us on Instagram @reference.pictures so we can share your work!

That's all there is to it!

This month is the perfect opportunity to rededicate yourself to daily art study. Learning to make better art takes a long time. You can't learn it in a few days. It takes a lot of effort over a long period of time to figure all of this stuff out. And June seems like a damn good time to form that habit of daily study.

Join the free Art Camp Discord and share your work with other jammers. Share your art, give and receive critiques, and talk about whatever struggles or realizations you're having with developing these good habits. It's a great place to get some camaraderie and feel a bit less alone in this stuff.

I'm doing a daily #JuneStudyJam email with free reference photos, advice/encouragement, and some of my favorite resources. Last year it was free (and anyone who bought it last year will be grandfathered in for free), but I'm charging a couple bucks for it this year. It takes me a while to do, for one thing.
